Andy Kahn is an acclaimed pianist and vocalist who performs at jazz festivals, concert halls, theatres, nightclubs, schools and on cruise ships. He appears regularly in his hometown Philadelphia venues: World Café Live, Chris’ Jazz Cafe and Hedgerow Theatre. Andy headlined his solo stage show at Resorts Casino Hotel Atlantic City in The Starlight Room. As an "Artist in Residence" for Jacobs Music Company, he represents Steinway & Sons pianos. Andy's special musical interest is presenting his “Great American Songbook" concert series, "Music by Intention." His shows are flavored with personal jazz interpretations of these 20th century popular standards. A gifted pianist, composer, arranger, record producer and recording engineer, Kahn has achieved international notoriety. He wrote, arranged and produced the Number 1 dance hit "Hot Shot" performed by vocalist Karen Young, earning him his first gold record in 1978. Andy continues to write, perform and lecture on jazz and popular standards, America's unique contribution to music and the arts. He currently serves as the Musical Director for veteran Hollywood and TV vocalist Peggy King.
